Since 2010, the Dynamo Camp Non-Profit Association has also taken the Recreational Therapy programmes, the scientific basis of the Dynamo Camp programmes, outside the Camp, with the Outreach project, to hospitals and family homes and on-board the Dynamo Off Camp truck.
The objective of the Recreational Therapy approach is to involve the children in entertaining and thrilling activities that stimulate their abilities and help them to renew their self-confidence and trust in their own abilities.
Outreach reaches sick children recovering in hospitals, those who are guests in family homes and children in post-hospitalization or coming from non-hospital structures to whom three main free activities are put forward: radio, musical and audiovisual workshop activities organized on the basis of the experiences of the Dynamo Camp programmes.
The Dynamo Off Camp project was born in 2014: this is a truck that carries the special Radio Dynamo, Dynamo Studios, Dynamo Musical projects and creative laboratories on tour. A visible and symbolic means for the route travelled and to be travelled to reach children. The Dynamo Staff is on board for the week of workshops.
The Johnson&Johnson Foundation supports Dynamo Camp Outreach through the Dynamo Off Camp project.
