The staff and volunteers play a fundamental role within the Camp, making it possible to complete the programme and sharing every aspect of the experience with the children.
The Camp personnel are carefully selected according to criteria of preparation, understanding, enthusiasm, and knowledge, and receive intensive training in preparation for the sessions with the children.
All the activity areas are managed by personnel who are qualified and expert in the management of similar programmes for children with specific and special needs.
In order to enjoy and learn as much as possible from the Camp experience, and above all to give the children an unforgettable stay in total safety, even the volunteers are trained for an entire day before the session begins to gain a better understanding of the concepts of Therapeutic Recreation.
Being a volunteer is an extraordinary experience, rich in friendship, reflection, exchanges, and adventure. As always, those who offer affection, help, and support often receive the same in exchange, often without even realising it.
